What is WNOD?

WNOD is a series of audio files that were recorded onto a computer as WAV files then compressed into MP3 files for distribution on the internet via an RSS feed. It began in the 1980s as the brain child of two brothers, Robert and Justin, who had little more than a tape recorder and a dream of being on the radio. Taking their inspiration from comedy talk radio, late-night talk shows, sketch comedy, and current events, they came up with a wacky mock radio show and they named it after their cat, Nod. The show ran from 1988 to 2001, at which point it was retired and all of the hosts moved on to other things. In 2015, the show was resurrected by Rob as a fully modern digital aural experience, with plenty of laughs and interesting conversations. WNOD continues to entertain the planet to this day.
